Les News Du C64 Avec Parallaxian

Parallaxian has been featured by French C64 content creator Olivier Cappelaere on his YouTube channel. Olivier runs a regular C64 news show covering new releases, demos, and works in progress from the scene, and he’s included Parallaxian in his latest roundup.

It’s brilliant to see the project reaching the French-speaking C64 community. The Commodore 64 had a strong following in France and there’s still an active scene there that doesn’t always overlap with the English-language forums and social media groups I usually frequent. Different corners of the retro world, same passion for the machine.

Even if your French is rusty (mine certainly is), the video is worth watching for the gameplay footage and screenshots alone. Visual content transcends the language barrier, and it’s always interesting to see how someone else presents your work. Olivier does a thorough job and his enthusiasm is infectious.

The C64 scene is genuinely international and moments like this remind me why it’s worth putting the effort into promoting the project beyond the usual English-language channels. Cheers, Olivier.
